OMG. We had an almost identical dinner last night. I made flounder with tapenade and tomatoes en papillote. And then I broiled some asparagus spears and made Meyer lemon aioli for dipping. The flounder would have turned out much better on the grill, I have to say. Now I know what people mean when they say "the fish was mushy".
This began as a creative exercise to re-engage myself with what I was eating, among other reasons, and frankly, it's one of the coolest things I've done. I hope my doodles, out-of-perspective shapes, and ramblings on dinner-ish events continue to bring more creativity to my daily dinner routine. I'm sure you already know this, but you can click on the drawing for a larger view.
